PureVPN Speed Review – Here’s what we found out

Those who subscribe to a VPN service do it for two reasons: to get online security & privacy, and to access websites from anywhere.

Online security and privacy are important as it keeps our devices and our data safe on the internet. It also keeps all kinds of data snoopers at bay and safeguard our privacy on the internet.

Some VPN services, such as PureVPN, offer strong encryption that protect our traffic even on unreliable Wi-Fi networks. In such scenarios, a VPN service is very helpful.

However, there are some people who are more interested in getting online freedom rather than online security. These people want to enjoy access to any website on the internet. And a VPN is an stunning tool to achieve just that.

There are millions of websites that practice geo-blocking, i.e. these websites are only accessible from some countries only and are inaccessible elsewhere. This is where a VPN helps.

Because VPNs have servers placed in different regions around the world, it can help you access any websites that are available in these regions. When you connect to any particular VPN server, your IP address changes from your own device to that of the server’s. Because most websites use your IP address to detect your location, you can trick these websites into thinking you live elsewhere so that they may allow you access.

For a VPN service like PureVPN, offering complete internet freedom is easy. The service has over 6500+ servers placed in 140 countries. This means that people can access any website they want from these countries with complete ease.

With PureVPN, users can access seven different regions of Netflix which include the American, British, French, Canadian, German, Australian, and the Japanese version. Moreover, they can access other streaming channels as well such as Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, HBO Max, and Disney Plus.

PureVPN Speed Review

While it is easy to access just about any streaming channel you want with PureVPN. But does the service offer the right kind of speed to the user? Because if the speed of the service isn’t good enough, there’s no use having access to so many streaming channels as constant buffering will ruin our streaming experience.

We did a PureVPN speed review, and thankfully, we can confirm that the service is indeed very good for streaming.

As per our PureVPN speed review, we tested the ping rate and both the download speed and upload speed of the service. First, we performed a speed test without connecting PureVPN so we could get an idea of what our original speed was. And then we connected PureVPN and tested the speed again.

The result was satisfactory. There was no major change in the download speeds and upload speeds. There was only a minor change in pings. Upload speeds are important as it is used to encrypt online communications. While download speeds help you stream anything on the internet.

Thankfully, both were in pretty good condition. And we can safely say that PureVPN speed review produced positive results.
